Here is adorable and beautiful Chrissy! She is a two and a half year old Black and Tan Coonhound, sister to Charles. These two gorgeous dogs were found in the woods (happens too frequently in the south) and taken to the Murray Co shelter in the north Georgia mountains where we recued them within hours of being put to sleep. Chrissy is and her brother are large dogs (she weighs 63 lbs)but you wouldn’t know it because they are so well behaved and mellow. Chris listens and responds well to commands, never jumps up and is perfect in the car. She is crate trained and house trained and comes when called to a whistle. Chrissy and Charles both are not your typical house dogs (want something different in the neighborhood?) but will make exemplary pets. Chrissy is mellow, amiable, calm and unobtrusive indoors. She is gentle and tolerant with children and strong and independent outdoors. She can run for miles, but will be content with a good jog or long walk. She does enjoy her time outdoors and is a good swimmer. She gets along great with other dogs and even cats. Chrissy is a beautiful dog with a glossy, smooth and easy to maintain coat. She has hazel eyes, long ears and beautiful tan markings. Chrissy loves her brother Charles, and while it would be nice for them to go together, she will be fine on her own. Chrissy is calm and quiet in her crate at night and is very well behaved already. This cool hound girl will be easy to love and easy to integrate into your home. She deserves a great place to be her forever spot and she will be loyal and attentive to you for it. Chris is spayed, completely vaccinated and micro-chipped.
