Annabelle - Update's Story...
Annabelle is a beautiful 3 year old blue girl, she has a much darker, richer coat that some blues we see. Annabelle was found stray and taken to a shelter where little was done for her. A very dobie friendly animal control officer knew the place she needed to go so Annabelle made the trip to our rescue. A vet visit showed she is heartworm positive so treatment will begin soon. Because of her pending treatment we will not be able to get Annabelle spayed until after she is heartworm negative. Annabelle seems to get along fine with other dogs and doesn't mean to hurt a cat but loves to chase them. She also loves to get lots of attention from people and enjoys a good long walk or car ride too!

UPDATE: Annabelle has long since completed her heartworm treatment and is healthy and available for adoption! She does; however, need to be an only dog as she does not get along with other dogs. She loves people and will be perfect for a one dog household.

The cost to treat heartworms is $600. If you would be interested in helping pay for Annabelle's treatment, please visit our website and click on the paypal link or send a check directly to the rescue. Thank you very much!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Annabelle - Update, a New Richmond Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in New Richmond, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in New Richmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Richmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Richmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Richmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
