Here's what the humans have to say about me:
introducing TEDDY, our newest ball of fluff! TEDDY is a 3YO Lhasa/Westie cross who was surrendered to a vet clinic for euthanasia because he bit a stranger. The story surrounding the bite sounded suspicious, as he has been ok for the most part in the clinic. According to previous owners, Teddy is great with most people and most other animals, but there are a handful that he reacts strongly to. He was being disciplined for his 'outbursts' and is the type 'to bite back if you hit him'. From what we've seen in foster care, he does have some leash reactivity, and we are working with him to discourage it. He is a great cuddler, crate and house trained. For the most part is quiet, but so far will bark if he hears outside noises. He has had some seasonal allergies in the past, though his past owner wasnt always on top of treating them and they werent out of control. So far he has been good with both dogs and cats. I suspect he's a typical small dog that was being grossly mishandled in his past home, and would do great with those who 'get' small dogs. Given his previous history, we are looking for a child free home for Teddy, or at family with older kids. He is a fluffy little munchkin that we doubt will be with us for very long.
