My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there my name is Sisco, and I'm a handsome, smart, cuddle bug. I was born around August 1, 2011, so I'm a young guy. I weigh 45-50 pounds and I am a proud, neutered male. They think I am a Besenji//lab possibly heeler mix of some sort, and I probably have a few other breeds in there as well. I think my breed is cute and sweet. As you can see I am black and white, and my tail is black with a furry white tip and it curls over. I take treats very gently from your hands, I am housebroken, great with children, and dogs. If you have allergies, your application will not be processed. Breed is only a guess!

I am fabulous with other dogs, children, and, house trained. When I need to do out to do my business, I look at my foster family while I am standing by the back door. I've been told I'm a really good boy! I love the children in my old foster home who were 5 and 8. I kept jumping the fence at my foster home so, I am now being fostered at Central Bark Doggy Daycare in Oswego where I am having the time of my life playing with everyone. I have not tried to jump the fence at all since coming to Central Bark. I am a favorite at Central Bark and everyone who meets me falls in love with me. I am so good with other dogs that Central Bark uses me as their introduction dog when new playmates come.

I love treats, will take the snack out of your hands very gently. I am a cuddle bug and have very cute behaviors, especially when I want to cuddle with you. My expressions are beautiful.

My ideal home would have either no fence or a 6 ft fence, and an active family that will walk me or run with me. I can jump over a 4 ft fence and will jump it if I get bored so if you have a 4ft fence, another dog who will play with Sisco, and you will never leave him unattended in the yard, we would consider a home with a 4 ft fence.

I came from a high kill shelter in Altus, OK, which if it not for Angels On Wheels, I likely wouldn't be around today. See I'm black and was placed in a high kill shelter where many of friends didn't make it out alive. So glad I was saved because I have been told I will make a fabulous pet!!!

Sisco is being fostered in Oswego around all kinds of dogs who he is fabulous with. He is crate trained, and is really a gentleman. Sisco does like to bark at the kitties in the previous foster home because he wants to play with them. The foster mom has not seen ANY aggression towards the other dogs, children, bones, toys, food or treats. Sisco is really a fabulous pooch! We're looking for a family that will play with him in the yard and/or take him for long walks or even run with him. If that is you, than Sisco is your man.

If you want to meet this special animal, you will need to go to www.angelsonwheels.org to complete the on-line application. If your applications is a good match, you would go to the foster mom's home to meet him. Please be patient with the process. Angels On Wheels Animal rescue is an all volunteer rescue with jobs and families trying to save some lives. It can take a few days to process applications. Please be patient and give us time to process your application before emailing and phoning. Thank you very much we truly appreciate your patience.
