My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Poor Riley had little chance of making it out of the shelter as he was very timid and “shut down” in his cell. He didn’t cry and beg for attention — he just sat scared and confused in the back of his kennel, tail tucked snuggly between his legs. Well, that didn’t scare us away! We were told by shelter volunteers Riley was a very sweet and lovable pup who just needed to be shown some TLC.

The minute we met Riley he crouched down on the floor, wagged his tail so hard that his whole bottom shook, and he scooted over to our feet and gave us kisses. We took him out of the shelter immediately!

Riley just takes a few minute to come out of his shell and then he is all love and affection. Riley is very happy and super quick to learn. While he has no visible training, after 20 minutes he was walking right along with us on leash and looking up to us for queues.

Riley gets along well with other dogs and we know he will make a fabulous family pet!
