Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rickey, a Lab mix, is about 1 year old. He was rescued from underneath an abandoned trailer when he was about 6 weeks old and his doggie mother had abandoned him. He was tiny, hungry and so malnourished that he was not only anemic, but he also had rickets. After several weeks of good puppy food and a safe home, he recovered completely from rickets and anemia. His mother was a small white Lab looking dog and his dad was apparently a traveling man. Rickey is an affectionate boy that seeks attention. He is doing well with house training, is learning basic doggie manners and walks on a leash. He loves playing with his smaller foster siblings. They all have several house races each day, playing catch and tag or drag race. Rickey is an active boy that needs his own active person and a fenced yard.
