Chelsea's Story...
Hi I'm Chelsea a very sweet 12 year old girl, and I am desperately in need of a new home. My person has recently gotten a divorce and has to move out of state and can't take me and my other furry friends, Artemis, Dinah, Figuero, and Shadow with her. I am a real lover and my favoite things are snuggling and napping in the sun. We can be placed individually or together. We are all looking for a home with a cat lover who knows that we are fiercely loyal companions. I can tolgerate gentle children for short periods. PLEASE TAKE ME HOME SO I DON'T HAVE TO GO TO A SHELTER! Contact Heather at 949 701-1876 or

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chelsea, a Laguna Woods Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Laguna Woods, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Laguna Woods.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Laguna Woods already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Laguna Woods breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Laguna Woods paves the way for another one to be saved.
