Tina's Story...
Timid Tina is a cute German Shepherd mix girl puppy for adoption. She had a very sheltered life for her first four months and is just now learning about this world of other people, dogs, and places. She will need a loving home with a family that will be understanding of her inexperience and be gentle with her to help her work through her fears of all things new. She is very attentive for treats and knows SIT and is working on crate training and leash training. Tina is in a new foster home and is doing well. She is very quiet, loves being indoors and sits patiently at your feet while you work around the house. Tina is loving and enjoys affection from her human.

The adoption fee is $150.00 and covers age appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter, micro-chip, wellness exam, fecal, de-wormer, flea and heartworm preventative and any other various medical expenses needed.

To start the adoption process, please fill out this online Pre-Adoption Application Form or email raesance@gmail.com for an application or with questions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tina, a Metairie German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Metairie, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Metairie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Metairie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Metairie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Metairie paves the way for another one to be saved.
