Needs Foster/Forever Home ASAP!

Kai is an affectionate dog born about 2010. He is a people pleaser, really smart and loves treats and attention, so he learns very quickly. He likes to run around and play - and then is able to totally chill in the house (he actually even sits and watches the animals on a National Geographic-like channel on TV). He curls up right next to you and just hangs out. Kai was found roaming the street, hungry, tired and dirty. His “rescuers” tethered him outdoors for over 8 months, only to be let indoors at night. They could not find him a home so decided to take him to the shelter. He was intercepted on the way to the shelter but the foster has cats. He is not good with cats and needs an immediate placement in a new foster home so he doesn’t end up at the shelter. He is 90% house-trained, gets along with most dogs but would probably prefer a home without dogs. He loves to walk and improves daily on his leash skills. He is a really smart, sweet, fun loving dog with a great personality and a big puppy heart. Please help this little guy stay out of the shelter!
