Evie's Story...
Meet Evie, our double pawed debutante who is as sweet and sassy as her namesake. Evie is an absolute love who was found with her kitten on someone’s back porch. Although placement in the Garden of Eden might be an ideal situation we were thinking of something indoors and a little closer to the Plainville area... If you have a purrfect home for this pretty polydactyl then come and give her a new beginning… Evie is estimated to be around 1 year old, has been spayed, and is up to date with her regular shots. If you are interested in meeting Evie or other cats/kittens in our care waiting for a home, please call 508-695-4707 (leave a message if need be!). Paws of Plainville, Inc. is dedicated to helping the homeless cats in the local area. We are an all volunteer, nonprofit organization. All donations are tax deductible and can be sent to P.O. Box 2236, Plainville, MA 02762. For more information, please visit us at www.pawsofplainville.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Evie, a Plainville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Plainville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Plainville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Plainville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Plainville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Plainville paves the way for another one to be saved.
