Adopted as of 11-29-12; not available. Original bio is below:
Lexie is a very pretty pure-bred Yorkie female. She's 8 years old & 12 lbs. She's been surrendered to our rescue because her owner could no longer physically care for her & take her for walks. She's spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped, dewormed, & fully groomed. She's completely potty trained & goes outside. She's a very loving, gentle dog who needs a home with someone who is there most of the time. Her owner was retired & Lexie is used to spending most of her time with her person.
Lexie loves being outside alot or sitting at the window so she can see what's going on outside. She is a healthy, strong dog. She loves the dog stroller & loves to go on outings. She never barks nor makes any noises of any kind when she's out & about with her people. She loves people, however doesn't want to do more than greet them. She does bark now & then when she's protecting her house and yard. She does not bark when people walk down the street. Lexie sleeps in her dog bed sometimes & sometimes she wants to sleep with her human. She's active and loves to walk. She loves her toys & plays when she wants to. She's an excellent & devoted companion. Lexie requires an all adult home where someone is there most of the time; no young children or grandchildren.
