Hello there. I’m Mary, a kindhearted 3-4 year-old pit bull terrier. I’m a dear, gentle lass who can only hope for a better life. My volunteer friends think I’m a breathtaking dog who is also quite fragile. I think the name they gave me suits me perfectly, don’t you? Certain things in the environment tend to frighten me. Who knows how traumatic my life was before I ended up here. I’m super-duperifically affectionate. Kissing and cuddling are some of my favorite pastimes. I guess I can describe myself as a mellow lass who also takes pleasure in prancing around with toys. I can “sit” and “lay down” like a good little girl and am very eager to please. I play well with other canines so I would just love to have a furry sibling. Aren’t I just too precious for words? Please, love me tender, love me true! I’ll be yours through all the years, ‘til the end of time.
