Wendle's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, declawed, and good with cats.

Wendle's Story...
Wendle is a one-year-old Turkish Van mix cat who was dumped from a home at the NYC animal pound.
Former owners had DECLAWED Wendle, but not neutered him! They then claimed they were "Moving to Los Angeles" and couldn't take Wendle with them.
Wendle was terrified in the shelter (as you can see by his second picture taken at the pound) and quickly ended up on the "Euthanasia list." However, we pulled Wendle from the shelter and he is currently doing very well in a foster home, where he is living with three other cats (who have claws). Wendle is very friendly, outgoing and playful. Good with other cats. Can you offer Wendle the committed, permanent home, he so deserves? If so, please call us at (212) 427-8273. Wendle is a total SWEETHEART!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wendle, a New York Turkish Van cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Turkish Van for sale in New York, or seeking a Turkish Van cat from a breeder in New York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Turkish Van breeders who help with Turkish Van rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New York paves the way for another one to be saved.
