Lizzie's Story...

This puppy will not be shown before our adoption event on Saturday.

Lizzie is a Boxer/American Bull Dog Mix female, estimated date of birth is mid September, 2012. She is one puppy from the rescued litter and will require a fenced yard.

With temperatures dropping, frost on the ground, cold enough to see your breath. These tiny bundles of white fur, small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, were grabbed from the warmth of their mother, dumped into a small cardboard box. Piled on top of each other for lack of room these babies were discarded outside with the garbage. Fortunately someone passing by heard puppies whimpering, upon opening the box discovered tiny puppies and brought them to Last Chance Rescue.

Are you willing to give one of these wonderful puppies a loving/caring/safe home so they never have to feel abandoned again?

Their adoption fee is $250 (cash/check only). They will be at PetSmart in Brighton this Saturday. The adoption event is from Noon until 4pm.

For more information and a pre-adopt form please contact their foster Terri at TLOVEST2001@YAHOO.COM

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lizzie, a Howell Boxer/American Bulldog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/American Bulldog for sale in Howell, or seeking a Boxer/American Bulldog puppy from a breeder in Howell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Howell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Howell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/American Bulldog breeders who help with Boxer/American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Howell paves the way for another one to be saved.
