Duffy's Story...
Howdy, everyone! I iz known as Duffy and, yeah, I'm darn cute! I was at Columbia County Animal Control and slated to be put down last month when a wonderful group of people rallied to raise funds, pull me and board me until this rescue had room for me. They needed a home for some special cats and Patch (already adopted), Casey and I needed homes, so … Here I am! I'm a sweet boy. I like walking, but still want to pull a little on the leash, so need some guidance from you experienced JRT owners. I am a young boy (probably only 1 or 2), am UTD on shots and am heartworm free. I just arrived today, so the people here are still "reading" me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duffy, a Conyers Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Conyers, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Conyers.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Conyers already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Conyers breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Conyers paves the way for another one to be saved.
