Beatrice's Story...
Beatrice is a small female red tabby domestic medium hair with ear tufts, 2.5 years old as of October 2013.

Beatrice is an exquisitely beautiful long-haired red tabby who is looking for a home where she will be given a chance to let her true personality shine. She is a shy girl who needs a bit of time to trust people and adapt to new situations. However, once Beatrice has warmed up to you, this little wallflower blossoms into a very affectionate and playful kitty, and is never one to turn down some good catnip! She enjoys the companionship of her littermates and would do well in a home with other cats, but prefers quiet and patient humans who will make her feel safe and secure.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Beatrice, a St Louis Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in St Louis, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in St Louis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in St Louis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a St Louis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in St Louis paves the way for another one to be saved.
