My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Grace, a 6 month old German Shepherd/hound mix. Grace was a stray pup in Arkansas and has been with her foster family for 7 weeks. The vet estimated she had been without regular food/water for at least 3 weeks prior to her arrival. She weighed about 12 pounds, was sick and had a problem with her skin frequently seen in very malnourished dogs. She has bounced back and weighed 30 pounds at her vet visit two weeks ago. She has lots of energy now. She's had all her puppy shots and heartworm meds. She is a smart, friendly, curious puppy. She currently lives with three other dogs and a cat, and plays well with others and by herself. No problems with chewing shoes or furniture. She is content gnawing on bones and her toys. Her housebreaking was delayed until she recovered her health but is coming along nicely. Her coat is filling in; vet said to expect a long time on this portion of her recovery. Btw, we named her before she was healthy; her name is not indicative of her physical prowess
