L.J.'s Story...
L.J. is a happy, playful and sweet boy. He is long-legged, lean, and lanky. He weighs about 50 lbs and is not a very bulky boy. He came into foster care a little underweight and we've been trying to put some pounds on him and he is looking a little better.

He is already NEUTERED and microchipped and up to date on all vaccinations.

This boy is a real people lover and athletic. He has a great energy level, is game for anything, and is also so good about chilling out in his crate when it is time. LJ is crate-trained and will easily transition to house-trained with the right guidance and support.

L.J. knows the command for sit and loves treats--should make learning other commands easy. He is an active boy and would be a really wonderful friend and companion for a family/person who likes to do lots of outdoor activities. L.J. is about 1 year old.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

L.J., a Sacramento Boxer/American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a Boxer/American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with Boxer/American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
