My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

COURTESY POSTING!!! Roxy has a very good temperament. She likes attention and is content was just being around you. Also, she is ok with being left alone. When you show her attention she is up and excited for anything, whether its a walk or run, time to eat or play or obey commands. Roxy loves to listen and is very good with anything you tell her. She will heel when walked and is well trained with obedience. Roxy is to smart for her environment. She is house broken and will always let you know when she needs to go out. She is extremely intelligent, and like to try to tell you what to do and find that amusing. Roxy has always been around adults, and once she feels you out for about five minutes she want to be your friend and ask for pets and not want you to stop. She enjoys the company! She has grown up for a lot of her years will a child in the house. My son who is 9yrs old has played, tugged and climbed on her and she has always been ok with anything. She has never shown negative attension towards him. Roxy was introduced to our new born and lays by his room while he sleeps. She is always aware of where he is at all times and has never shown aggression in any way. She will lay by him while he eats and while your not looking he feeds her and she will eat out of his hand. So yes she is good with children. We had a larger house at the time with more space and a fenced in yard but for the past few years she is confined in a smaller house wit no yard. There is not enough room for a dog her size. So she is confined with little space. She would love the ability to run free. The only thing is that when she gets excited she isn't aware of her size and may forget anyone else is around and knock them out of the way but its unintentional. As a puppy Roxy was good with other dogs and I had her in obedience training. Its just that I have not let her around other dogs in so long that she does not properly socialize with them. I cross the street on a walk with her but more for the other dog owners for there own confort. When other dogs are around she get very hyper and excited. She wants you to know she's there. She will bounce around, whine and get antsy. I don't know anymore what she would actually do if confronted. For to many years I have avoided it for my own concern. She may be ok in the right environment with the right person. A lot of it is her being protective of her home and more so me. With that said, Roxy is a great Rottweiler who would thrive under the right care. Contact is Darren at 484-802-7418 or email him at DARVOC6@yahoo.com
