I have fallen in love with this Maine Coon beauty. Formerly known as Cleopatra, I have settled on calling her Annabelle - a name which I believe fits her better. She is a softer, sweeter cat, not anything like a preening queen, but one who adores being held and cuddled - a true 'belle.
This pretty girl also has a silly kitten side, as she loves to chase her tail. Each morning as we wake up, she chases her fluffy, striped tail - spinning on top of the bed. And the more you laugh, the more she delights in keeping you amused.
And the best thing about darling Annabelle is that she is as close as you can get to a purebred Maine Coon, without all the masses of hair to have to groom daily. She has the personality, beauty and class, and she is still young, but appears that she will attain a larger - but not massive size. I believe she will be about 12 to 14 lbs once she finishes her growth, a larger cat without risk of the cardiac issues which purebred Maine Coons face.
She gets along well with other cats, dogs, and plays well with children.
Annabelle is now about a year old as per the estimate of my vet. She is being spayed on 11-15-12 and is ready to become part of your loving, forever home!
Her adoption fee is $80 which covers her combi test, spay, vaccinations, microchip, Advantage plus, ear mite preventative, and worming.
Star Cats can't ever be declawed, live with an indoor smoker, or go outside unattended.

Rescue Group Info...
We are an all-volunteer group of individuals who love and cherish every animal we rescue. We operate at a significant loss and seek to place each animal into the best home for the duration of their life.
Donations are always welcome and tax-deductible.
We operate by appointments, and will meet at our adoption centers in Arlington and Krum, Texas. Evening and weekend appointments are available.
We require an adoption application and a fee for all adoptions. Animals which are too young for sterilization require an additional deposit to ensure they are altered, which is refunded to you upon proof of sterilization. Animals MUST be sterilized within 60 days of adoption without exception. We prohibit declawing and won't adopt to homes with indoor smokers. Should an animal not work out for any reason, we must have the animal returned to our rescue. We reserve the right to deny an adoption to anyone.
We have cats living in loving homes from coast to coast, in nearly every state! We have traveled many hours to meet adoptive families and worked with transport groups to get cats and kittens to their new, loving, forever homes. With an approved adoption application and a home visit? We serve every city and county in the United States.
