Hi! My name is WALKER. I'm a neutered BLACK/WHITE BORDER COLLIE MIX. I weigh 46 pounds and I am just over a year old. I’m a shy guy when you first meet me; however, I open up ready to give love and affection once given the chance. I love to go on walks and meet new dog and people friends--both kids and adults. I love to play a lot, especially with my kong toy. Herding is a fun thing for me to do, so I'd do great if I ever had a chance to do that for real.

I’m looking for a loving home with a committed owner to grow with. Is that you?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Walker, a Vista Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Vista, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Vista.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vista already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vista breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vista paves the way for another one to be saved.
