Jessie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Jessie's Story...
I am a little ball of fun and happiness. I am still a pup so some more training and an active lifestyle will be the key for me to be the best girl I can be. I do wonderful with the other dogs here at the shelter, but for some reason when I get into a home I dont like to share. I guess you could say I pick my doggy friends very carefully. I am great with cats and kids. I have had a stint in a foster home so I do know my crate and house manners pretty well. I have that great Lab type of energy that I just cant wait to share with a family of my very own. 1 year old-45lbs. My adoption fee is
$160 and includes; current shots, spay, microchip, 5 week Training Class, free veterinary
exam (SE Portland/Milwaukie area) ,1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food
sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jessie, a Portland Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie for sale in Portland, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Border Collie dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Border Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
