We would like to explain that if you are looking for a perfect dog, they are rarely found in rescue. Our dogs often have unknown histories and we do our very best to evaluate each dog with kids, cats, and other dogs as well as determine how they behave in a home. It is important to understand that we have some specific criteria for each dog based on their backgrounds and input from their foster families. The purpose of these criteria is to better match each dog with an appropriate family. While a certain dog might appeal to you based on breed, size, gender or appearance, you may not match the listed criteria. Please understand that we are not trying to make adoption difficult—we are trying to make each adoption successful for the dog and the new family.

Bingo is a happy, friendly 4 month old hound mix puppy who would be a great addition to any family. He came from an impound and now weighs 20 pounds. He should top out at around 35 pounds full grown. Bingo is a happy, sweet natured puppy who loves kids of any age, dogs,and has met a few cats. He seems to get along with everyone. Bingo is crate trained, doing very well on house training when he is let out regularly, and he is learning to walk on a leash. He loves being next to people and his favorite spot to lay is on someone's lap. Bingo likes to play with toys and go for walks. Because he is a puppy, he will need an adult around much of the day for his continued training. And hounds love to have their noses to the ground so having a fenced yard is a huge plus. Bingo is with a 501c3 non profit rescue. His $250 adoption fee is to cover his neuter, heartworm pills, all his immunizations, and he has a HomeAgain microchip.
To ensure that this dog thrives in his new home and that the adoption works out for the dog and your family, these are the requirements for adoption. These criteria are not negotiable. If you do not meet these criteria, please choose another dog that will work out better for your family.
