Callie's Story...
When Callie first entered our rescue she was unsure about the new house, new people and the other dogs. Callie was clingy to the humans but now she really enjoys playing with her foster buddy. Callie would be a great only dog as constant companion, great girl to take to work very quiet and low key when not outside playing. She would also be a great addition to a household with a another nice kind dog that is looking for the perfect playmate. Just make sure you have an extra hand to pet her! Her foster mom says she is a "great girl" and deserves the perfect home.

Calie is almost 3 yrs. old, UTD on shots and is spayed. She is on flea and heartworm preventative.

Callie will be transported to the NE via Alpha Dog Transport upon adoption. They charge $125 for their services. They will also hand off all vet records at that time. An adoption fee will also apply.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Callie, a Providence Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Providence, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Providence.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Providence already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Providence breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Providence paves the way for another one to be saved.
