Kris's Story...
Kris is an 8 week old Domestic Shorthair kitten. Kris and his brother, Kringle, were rescued from a local apartment complex. He is a very playful kitten who also loves to be held and snuggled. Kris & Kringle may be the last baby kittens available before Christmas, so if you are looking for Christmas kittens, these sweet babies are for you.

Kris has tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV, has been dewormed, has been neutered, and is up to date with all his shots. Kris requires a home where he will never be declawed, or allowed to go outside.

If you would like to find out more about adopting this delightful cat, please call Cari at 571-408-9626 or email shadowcatadvocates@comcast.net. We answer emails as quickly as possible, but calling for info will be much faster.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kris, a Stafford Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Stafford, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Stafford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Stafford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Stafford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Stafford paves the way for another one to be saved.
