OC's Story...
Hi, my name is OC. My friend Jasmine and I thought we had it made. A really nice lady took us home from an animal shelter. Then it happened. The dog came home. Yikes! It was a really big dog! I think it eats cats. Jasmine and I were down to 6 or 7 lives for sure. Now we are safe at Cat Nap Lodge. We like it here, but we can't wait to have a home of our own. We hope to be adopted together. We really bonded over that dog incident.

OC is almost one year old. He is a big boy at 8 pounds. He has had his FVRCP and Rabies vaccinations. He has been tested for Feline Leukemia and has had his flea/worm treatment. OC has also been neutered. If adopted alone, his adoption fee is $100.00. If you adopt OC and Jasmine together their combined adoption fee would only be $150.00. Please call us at 269-567-0328 to make an apointment to visit OC and Jasmine.

Thank you for your interest in one (or two?) of our Cat Nap Lodge cats!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

OC, a Richland Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Richland, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Richland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richland paves the way for another one to be saved.
