Jake's Story...
Jake is a very unique guy! Just cuz he's short don't think he's not a big boy! A Basset hound and shepherd mix he is a sweetheart, but he just does NOT like cats....at all.

Jake is about 5 years old, a nice calm boy with his bassett hound laid back attitude and loves to be loved. He is nice and independent and content to hang alone, but gets along with other dogs....but again, NO CATS.

Jake needs a home - he's a low maintenence kind of guy - is he right for you?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jake, a Vista Basset Hound/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Basset Hound/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Vista, or seeking a Basset Hound/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Vista.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Vista already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Vista breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Basset Hound/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Basset Hound/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Vista paves the way for another one to be saved.
