Wiley's Story...
Meet WIley. He and his sibling were pulled from a very high kill shelter in SE KY. They are chihuahuas and are sweetest, friendliest puppies ever! They are approximately 8 weeks old and have had their first set of vaccinations and dewormer. They will not be available for adoption until they have had their second round of vaccinations in another week. Both of the puppies will be small dogs, they weigh approx. 2 lbs right now. Wiley is the personality of the crew and always wants to be with his person (typical chihuahua :)). He loves to play and would make an ideal family pet for a family with children over the age of 4. If you have any questions or are interested in adopting Wiley, please email bettinav@hotmail.com to begin the process.

FYI Wiley and his sibling will both come with a mandatory spay/neuter contract stating that he will be neutered at 6 months of age (no exceptions) and that we will be provided with proof from yhour veterinarian.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Wiley, a Hazard Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Hazard, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Hazard.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hazard already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hazard breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hazard paves the way for another one to be saved.
