Schremp's Story...
Schremp and his brother were turned into a very high kill shelter in SE KY. They are approximately 8 weeks old and have had their first set of vaccinations and dewormer. Schremp and Wiley and extremely friendly and love everyone! They would make ideal family pets for anyone with children over 4 years of age. Schremp will not be available for adoption for at least another week when he will receive his second set of vaccinations. If you have any questions or are interested in adopting Schremp, please email bettinav@hotmail.com to begin the process.

FYI Schremp will be adopted out with a mandatory spay/neuter contract stating that he will be neutered at 6 months of age (no exceptions) and that we will provided with proof showing this was done.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Schremp, a Hazard Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Hazard, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Hazard.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hazard already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hazard breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hazard paves the way for another one to be saved.
