Lew in Houston's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Lew in Houston's Story...
Lew is a 2-1/2 yr. old white (w/a couple of brown spots on ears) JR. He is very affectionate & loves to cuddle..house-trained (within a fairly set schedule--ie. accidents can happen if he's not let out in a timely fashion). He is up to date (as of 08.Oct`2012) on his shots & has been microchipped & neutered He is about 18 pounds.

Lew gets along well with my other dog & doesn't bother the cats (too much)..ok with children except for a bit of jumping & being overly excited to see them (no biting or nipping whatsoever).

I need to find Lew a good home, as i got him for my elderly parents & he was just too energetic for them. I am hoping y'all can broaden the search for a good home for Lew.

He does deserve someone who can give him the attention & lovin' he craves.
Adoption Fee is $75

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lew in Houston, a Austin Jack Russell Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Jack Russell Terrier for sale in Austin, or seeking a Jack Russell Terrier dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Jack Russell Terrier breeders who help with Jack Russell Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
