Tanner's Story...
If you are interested in making Tanner one of your family, our application to adopt can be found here:

Tanner is a 3 month old puppy saved from a shelter in Ohio. He is a sweet boy who loves to cuddle and wrestle with his foster brother. He is a smart little guy who loves training and in just one training session mastered "sit" and "touch." He is happy to be in his crate and is picking up potty training very quickly. Tanner is up-to-date on shots, fully vetted and will be neutered prior to placement.

Our adoption fee for adults is $175 and puppies (6 months and younger) is $250. The adoption fee will be used to defray the costs associated with medical care for our dogs. All dogs in our care will receive spay or neuter surgery, rabies vaccine (4 months and older), DHPP vaccines and microchipping before being placed in their approved adoptive homes.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tanner, a North Middletown Pit Bull Terrier puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in North Middletown, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier puppy from a breeder in North Middletown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Middletown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Middletown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Middletown paves the way for another one to be saved.
