Nicholas's Story...
Hi, my name is, Nicholas and I am a sweet, friendly, playful, growing puppy that would love a home with a family that likes fun times with a puppy but also wants to give me some training time -- bring out the treats! I am a bit shy and take a little while getting use to new people, dogs, places, etc as I didn't get out of the back yard at all when I was a young puppy. But now I am at a foster home that takes me for daily walks and is training me and teaching me that humans can be nice.

Nicholas would do best in a home with gentle people willing to give him the extra time he needs to adjust to this big world.

The adoption fee is $175.00 and covers age appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter, micro-chip, wellness exam, fecal, de-wormer, flea and heartworm preventative and any other various medical expenses needed.

To start the adoption process, please fill out this online Pre-Adoption Application Form or email raesance@gmail.com for an application or with questions.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nicholas, a Metairie German Shepherd Dog/Catahoula Leopard Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Catahoula Leopard Dog for sale in Metairie, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Catahoula Leopard Dog dog from a breeder in Metairie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Metairie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Metairie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Catahoula Leopard Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Catahoula Leopard Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Metairie paves the way for another one to be saved.
