Meet Gypsy! She is 2 to 3 year old female Terrier mix. She is a tiny girl who weighs 5lbs.. She was rescued out of the Redlands animal shelter. The shelter volunteers loved this darling little dog who wants nothing more than to be someone’s best friend.

Gypsy is a calm, laidback easy dog. She is content to lounge around and be close to her person. But when you get up to move around the house Gypsy is right at your side. She is very in tune with you and is a true companion type dog. She loves to be held and will ask to be picked up. However, she is not needy or demanding and is very well behaved and quiet. These qualities make her such an enjoyable easy dog. She is over the puppy chewing type stuff and her house manners are wonderful. She is also fine on her own for those times you cannot be with her. She is not a barker and she does her potty business outside. Gypsy is cuddle bug “extraordinaire”.

Gypsy gets along with other dogs wonderfully. Her play style is sweet, polite and very appropriate. Meaning that she will play with another dog if invited but will not pester a dog that does not wish to play. She would do well in a home with another sweet mild mannered dog OR she would do well as an only dog for a person or family who likes to include their dog in the daily activities. She is versatile and easy to please.

Gypsy is spayed, microchipped, rabies, dewormed and up to date on her vaccinations. If you would like to meet Gypsy please contact Theresa at treasuredtailsrescue@hotmail.com or call 951 852-7999. About Our Rescue Group...
Please visit our website at http://www.treasuredtailsrescue.com/

Welcome to Treasured Tails Canine Rescue. We are a volunteer based all breed dog rescue focusing on Riverside County and San Bernardino County animal shelters. The dogs we save from shelters are the ones in danger of euthanasia. Highly adoptable dogs lose their lives due to many reasons. Shelter over crowding, an easily treatable medical condition or injury, a dog who is extremely shy or frightened in the shelter environment or in many cases the dog is simply in need of a make over at the groomers. Once a dog enters our rescue he/she goes into a foster home where we can get to know that dog better which allows us to match the dog up with the right family. We do this for the love of dogs.

FOSTER HOMES ARE ALWAYS NEEDED! PLEASE CONTACT FOR FURTHER INFO ON BECOMING A FOSTER FOR OUR RESCUE.

Our Adoption Process...
Our adoption process is as follows. An adoption application needs to be filled out so we know a little more about you and your home. This helps us match the right dog up with the right family. If it looks like a good match we will set up a time where the family can meet the dog and spend time together. It is required that all members of the household and their current dogs (if any) be present during the meet and greet. If things go well and the family decides to adopt, Treasured Tails will deliver dog to its new family on a day/time agreed upon by both parties.

Adoption fee is $200-$250 and that includes spay/neuter, microchip, rabies. utd vaccinations and deworm.

An adoption contract must be signed by both parties upon adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gypsy-5 lbs, a Temecula Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Temecula, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Temecula.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Temecula already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Temecula breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Temecula paves the way for another one to be saved.
