Zelda's Story...
Slowly all the furniture was taken out, then the humans got in their car and I was all that was left in the apartment that was home. I was very scared but some very nice people found me and I am now in a foster home trying to be the best I can be. I am still a young girl, only about 2 years old and 7 lbs so just right for sitting in your lap or snuggling under the covers with you. Please come see me at the next event and tell them you want to meet the Chihuahua/Schnauzer mix. for event calendar and adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zelda, a San Diego Chihuahua/Schnauzer (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Schnauzer (Miniature) for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Chihuahua/Schnauzer (Miniature) dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Schnauzer (Miniature) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Schnauzer (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
