Serena's Story...
Hi, my name is Serena and I’m hoping that today is my day.

I don’t know why my original family moved away and left me behind and if that wasn’t bad enough, things got worse when I found myself pregnant as well. I had my babies in a neighbor’s back yard and thankfully she was willing to give me food and a box to sleep in. When the babies were old enough she gave them away but didn’t want me as her kitty. So, here I am hoping that today is the day I find a loving and “FOREVER” home of my own.

I am good with other kitties once I get to know them. I don’t mind NICE dogs and even kids are friends because they of course want to pet me too.

I am a VERY GOOD GIRL that uses the litter box like I’m supposed to and I’m SUPER SWEET once I get settled in and make sure that this isn’t just another temporary situation for me.

SO, if you’re looking for a little girl to be friends with, then
HERE I AM. (Birthday: 7/2011)

If you would like to meet this very sweet little girl, please call Cathy at 661-273-9822 or email her at hosford@hotmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Serena, a Palmdale Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Palmdale, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Palmdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Palmdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Palmdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Palmdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
