Kelsey's Story...
At first glance Kelsey looks like a beautiful black lab but get her into the sun and her gorgeous chocolate fur begins to shine. Kelsey is a young pup just learning what this big world has to offer. She is shy at first but give her a few minutes and she will be your best friend. Like most young labs she is very curious in everything around her so she needs a person who is willing to take the time to show her right from wrong and help her learn how to be the best dog she can be. She is a very active girl and loves to run and play but can also be a little cuddle bug Her perfect home would be a family that is home a lot, another young, active canine in the home will help give her the proper exercise and socialization a young lab needs and of course a bunch of daily exercise. Nightly walks won't be enough for her. Morning long walks or better yet jogs/runs are what this active gal needs. Take a moment and check out our precious Kelsey. RESCUE is a registered non-profit volunteer based animal rescue organization located in Maricopa County. RESCUE has no central facility and is volunteer run. Our focus is on the "kill lists." We were founded in 1995, and with the support of our volunteers and our community, we have found homes for over 9,000 dogs and cats. Our motto is for every animal adopted, we are back to rescue another. We depend on the community for our support and offer a variety of satisfying ways for you to get involved in our mission to end the killing of the orphaned dogs and cats. Please consider adopting, volunteering or donating.

Our Adoption Process...
Fill out an online application, have an interview with a Matchmaker, if we are in philosophical alignment, set up a meet and greet and if all goes well finalize the adoption. Our service fee for dogs is $150 and $125 for cats. All our dogs and cats are spayed and neutered prior to adoption.
