Shadow's Story...
Shadow is amazing! This 10 month old, fun loving boy, is happy to be alive! This sweetie narrowly missed death at an open-intake shelter after sweet talking the vet into saving him. His happy-go-lucky personality and easy going smile are hard not to fall in love with. Shadow is housebroken and crate trained, good with cats and dogs, and a fast study with training. Shadow is crate trained and has really worked on his leash manners. Shadow is a lab, and is still a puppy, so he does need exercise, but doesn't mind chilling out after his walk or run in the backyard.

Shadow is neutered, chipped, UTD on shots, HW neg, and fully vetted. His adoption fee is $175. Fill out an adoption application on our home page and email fidosrescue@yahoo.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Shadow, a Lancaster Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Lancaster, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Lancaster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lancaster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lancaster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lancaster paves the way for another one to be saved.
