Buddy (Nov. '12)'s Story...
Buddy is a neutered male, approx. one year old. He's housebroken and is good with other dogs. What a delight! We'd like to see Buddy adopted by someone who loves Terriers . Since Terriers cannot be trusted off a lead outside, he would benefit from having a nice, fenced yard where he could play.

About Our Rescue Group...
Like you, we love animals. Like you, we want to help animals. The Capital District Humane Association -- "For the Love of Animals" -- was formed in response to the serious need for a private animal welfare group to serve the Capital Region of New York State. It is incorporated and approved by the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) of New York City. Members of the Capital District Humane Association (CDHA) are volunteers with many years of experience working with displaced and homeless animals.

We find pets new homes! CDHA has found good homes for hundreds of displaced animals through a careful "adoption" process:

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buddy (Nov. '12), a Loudonville Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Loudonville, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Loudonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Loudonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Loudonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Loudonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
