Logan's Story...
Logan was adopted out as a kitten, but after about a year, his owner realized that he has to spend too much time at work and Logan is lonely alone at home. Instead of finding a pet kitten for Logan, he returned him to us ;-(
We thought that it will take a long time to find home for an adult tabby cat, even as cute as Logan. But we realized that Logan is really a great cat! He's very snuggly but also very playful and totally fine with other cats. He also gets along with dogs -- big or small! He used to snuggle with a big dog when he was young so perhaps that's how he learned that dogs are cool companions! Logan is very social, funny and a party animal!

Logan is 2 years old, neutered, up to date on vaccinations and tested negative for FIV and FELV.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Logan, a Brooklyn American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
