Trudy's Story...
Trudy is a three year old tan and white terrier mix. Trudy also came to Oregon from a high kill shelter in San Bernardino. She came in as a stray, although, she seems to have lived in a home prior to being a stray. She is potty trained and is a very sweet dog. Trudy’s foster family reports that while she is a little shy, she is ready for her new home and will come around with time and then she will be your best friend. Trudy is a gentle and quiet dog. She is good with kids, good with other dogs and good with cats. She is spayed, current on all vaccinations including rabies and is microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trudy, a Sheridan Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Sheridan, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Sheridan.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sheridan already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sheridan breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sheridan paves the way for another one to be saved.
