Moon's Story...
Moon and Comet will be at an adoption event at MV Pets on Westnedge in Portage on Fri 1/11 from 4-8 PM!

Hi, my name is Moon. My sister Comet and I were homeless until we came to Cat Nap Lodge. When I learn to trust you I will sit in your lap and purr! I have a big white spot on my belly and I love to have it scratched! I am very playful and I take care of my sister Comet. She is a little bit shy and needs me to help her feel safe. She would be lost without me!

Moon has been tested for Feline Leukemia and has had two FVRCP shots. He has had his flea and worm treatments. He has been neutered. He does have a slight heart murmur, but it is not causing any difficulties at the moment.

If you adopt Moon and Comet together their combined adoption fee is negotiable.

Please call us at 269-567-0328 to make an appointment to visit Moon.

Thank you for your interest in one of our Cat Nap Lodge kittens!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Moon, a Richland Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Richland, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Richland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Richland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Richland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Richland paves the way for another one to be saved.
