My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Rozie. I am a very tiny 5 yr. old healthy, happy Pug full of love and energy. My foster family has 4 fur babies that I like to play with all day - they are so much fun! We pile up on top of each other to take naps, but I really like to snuggle with a human at night. I sleep with my head on my foster Mom's shoulder (that is until she turns over). I love to play with toys and play tug of war. I LOVE to give kisses and sniff ears - what FUN!

I bark very little, usually only when the others bark. I will go to the door and walk in circles when I need to go out . I wait until I need to go, so there isn't too much notice. With a little training I'll get better at this task. My foster Mom is working hard to teach me and takes me out often. She is also trying to teach me to walk on a leash. It is not that I mind the leash - I really like outside - but I walk around her in a circle a lot and tangle the leash around her legs and feet. I also get tangled up with the other dogs leashes. A fenced in yard would be wonderful so I could run - I like ro RUN!

My previous owner used me for breeding and I had lots of litters. When I was spayed and I had to have a little tummy tuck - the over breeding caused me to have a belly sag. My incision has healed well, my shots are up to date, no heartworms, and I have a good appetite.

They were told that I am scared of small children and that's why I was taken to a shelter. I have not been around any since I have been with my foster family, so they don't know for sure. But I do get very excited and jump up a lot, so I might hurt a young child with my claws or knock them down if they are small.

I'm being fostered in Suffolk, VA, and my asking adoption fee is $250.
