Little Lady's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Little Lady's Story...
Lady is of the cutest little Shih Tzus we have ever seen. She is SOOO petite and looks like a little stuffed animal. Lady was rescued from the North Central Animal Shelter in Los Angeles. She is blind but gets around the house VERY well, knows how to use a doggy door and is not hindered in any way. She is good with other dogs and completely potty-trained. We did a senior blood panel on Lady and everything came back great. She is up-to-date on vaccines, spayed, and mircochipped. Lady is scheduled for dental too. Please email us at info@newlifek-9rescue.org if you have any questions on her. She is around 11-12 years old. Adoption applications can be found on www.newlifek-9rescue.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Little Lady, a Sherman Oaks Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Sherman Oaks, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Sherman Oaks.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sherman Oaks already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sherman Oaks breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sherman Oaks paves the way for another one to be saved.
