Jacqueline's Story...
Jacqueline is a female German Shepherd/mix puppy (this is the vets best guess). She is approximately 5 months old as of mid November 2012. She was found abandoned along with her two sisters, and brought to a local vet.

Jacqueline is a bit shy at first, but then warms up quickly and loves to play. She is currently a little challenged while trying to walk on a leash, but we'll work on that.

Jacqueline has been spayed and is current on her immunizations. If you would like to make Jacqueline a part of your family, please contact Gail Ross at 870-431-8229, or via email at gailspets@hotmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jacqueline, a Oakland German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Oakland, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Oakland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakland paves the way for another one to be saved.
