Jilly's Story...
Jilly is a super sweet girl that loves to be loved. She will talk to you for attention, rub on you until you give in to her demands, and purr just as loud as her little body is able. Raised with other cats, and both small and large dogs, she should fit into most homes, as she has an adaptable and easy going personality. In play, she is good about not using her claws on people, but is deadly when feathers on a string come out. This young girl will play until she is panting and barely able to move, as she just doesn't know when to stop. Her favorite foods are chunky wet cat food (Weruva or Soulistic), and freeze dried chicken treats, as well as enjoying little bits of raw meat from time to time.

All of our cats and kittens have been fostered in a home environment and are litter box trained, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, spayed/neutered, and have been tested for FIV and FeLV prior to being made available for adoption.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jilly, a Edmond Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Edmond, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Edmond.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edmond already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edmond breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edmond paves the way for another one to be saved.
