Gadget's Story...
Gadget's adoption fee is $375.

Well, hi there! My name is Gadget and I'm a 2 1/2yr. old male Shih Tzu mix. I'm 12 pounds of sweetness and I am up to date on my shots and micro chipped too.

I'm a real easy-goin' kind of guy, and I just love everyone that I meet. I get along well with the other dogs in my foster home and have fun playing with them and my foster parents. I love my toys and to go for walks; I'm such a social butterfly! My foster family has been working on my house training, and we're almost there, but I might still have the odd accident. I sleep on my foster family's bed at night (aren't I lucky?) and I love to go for car rides - there are so many neat things to see out there in the world!

If you think that we could have lots of fun hanging out together please get in touch - I'm looking for a great home with people to share my love with.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gadget, a Toronto Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Toronto, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Toronto.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Toronto already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Toronto breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Toronto paves the way for another one to be saved.
