My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ella is a lovely female Border Collie. She is approximately 2 years of age and is traditionally marked with prick ears. She appears to have a semi rough coat, although she seems to have blown her coat. It is somewhere between smooth and semi rough. Ella is underweight at the moment and we are working to put some more meat on her bones. We are still getting to know Ella better, but below are some initial observations about her:

Ella is a submissive female who lacks confidence, but she is so affectionate. She craves human interaction and wants nothing more than to please you. She is laid back and a quiet girl with an easy going temperament. Ella would be an ideal candidate for the first time Border Collie owner who wants to experience all of the wonderful traits of a BC, without the higher energy factor associated with this breed. She has a lower energy level and she would be happiest being on the couch cuddling with her humans. Ella is about as mellow as they come and just as sweet as can be--she has not meet a person or dog that she didn't like. She really wants to forge a close bond and will be a loyal and perfect canine companion. She gets along very well with other dogs, however, she would fine being adopted as an only dog. We have not evaluated her on cats, but due to her loving nature we don't suspect there will be any issues.
