"Hail to thee, blithe spirits!" Did you come to praise me? I am Augustus, kin to Maximus, and others--Claudius, Germanicus, Brutus, Horatius--who were carried away in the arms of love. Only Max and I remain to fill your days with glorious joy, lasting affection, and endless loyalty.
Here at Ahimsa we are referred to as the "Renaissance men," known for our vigorous and intellectual activity, our wide interests and expertise in ball chasing, bird watching, and hunting for Big Foot.
Our favorite pastime though is lounging on featherbeds to watch Animal Planet with our persons and dream about a pastoral life free of care.
Carpe diem, folks. Long ago Horace (59 A.D.) advised his audience to seize the day, live in the present, adopt a furry friend to make your life complete. Max and I (Gus) hunger for your love. Tempus is fugiting.
