Gilbert is a lovable, strong, snuggly, energetic, and well-trained, one-year-old, 63-pound, male, fawn and white American Staffordshire Terrier-mix looking for a loving guardian. Gilbert knows the commands sit, down, roll-over and give paw. He also takes treats very gently from your fingers. He would be best with someone willing to continue his training on manners and commands. He was found as a stray and brought to Aurora Animal Control, his family never came to retrieve him. He adores people and some dogs, mostly females – and especially Kate, his girlfriend in his foster home. He is crate-trained and housebroken.

Gilbert is healthy, de-wormed, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested and on monthly preventative.
