My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

IDGSR WELCOMES LINCOLN INTO THE RESCUE!

Lincoln is a approx. 10 month old lovable goof. He loves to chase a ball and loves the water. Lincoln is a fun dog who will be a wonderful companion for an active family.
Lincoln is a beautiful sleek and sweet boy. He is being fostered in a home with kids and other dogs and is getting along well. He is being crate trained and learning house manners.
Lincoln needs some obedience work but he's eager to learn and is engaging. We are not sure what he is mixed with but could be black german shepherd and black lab. He has the shiniest coat ever.
He showed up as a stray at a rural home, ads were placed and the shelter called but no one was looking for Lincoln. All too often animals are abandoned with no regard to their care and well being. We find this extremely troubling that people have so little regard for a life. Unfortunately this is a regular occurrence. We don't understand why.
If you would like to make Lincoln a part of your family please apply with the rescue.
